It began in 1979 when Madanlal Kumawat — a craftsman with extraordinary vision and calloused hands — founded VerticalNest in Ahmedabad. Starting from a modest workshop with just a few trusted workers, he laid the first stone of what would become Gujarat's most respected name in natural stone care.
For over three decades, Madanlal built the company on three unshakeable pillars: uncompromising quality, honest workmanship, and genuine care for every client. Through the economic upheavals of the 80s and 90s, through commercial booms and market shifts, VerticalNest stood firm — growing project by project, client by client.
In 2010, Madanlal passed the baton to his son Manoj Kumawat. Armed with a Master's degree in Political Science and deeply shaped by his father's values, Manoj brought a new dimension to the legacy — strategic vision, modern operations, and an expanded portfolio of services. Under his leadership, VerticalNest grew from a marble-fitting workshop into a full-spectrum interior craftsmanship company offering stone fitting, polishing, modular furniture, painting, and POP ceiling solutions.
